From Plagne Villages, start in the direction of the cheese shop and follow the Col de Forcle marked path. When you arrive at the top, turn left and continue to the Blanchets lake.

From this spot there's a great view of the Bourtes and the Via Ferrata which is accessible all summer for thrill seekers. Swimming is not permitted due to the fact that the lake is a water storage area for the resort so you'll just have be content admiring its beauty.

This easy walk is ideal for children as well as adults and perfect for an enjoyable way to spend a sunny afternoon.

If you still have energy, you can also continue on to the Roche de Mio.
