From Montchavin-Les Coches, take the Bijolin chairlift, which will bring you close to the Carroley lake. This lake is nestled in a picturesque setting where water, rock, and flowers blend harmoniously. Experienced hikers can then descend towards the Pierres Blanches lake, where you can admire a stunning panoramic view of Mont Blanc, aided by an orientation table.

🔴 Level red - difficult
The Route des Balcons offers a magnificent view point overlooking the Beaufortain mountain range and Mont Blanc. This walk is accessible to pedestrians and all-terrain pushchairs.
To access the path, take the Colosses chairlift from Bellecôte. Then, head towards the Dou du Praz fruitière (cheese dairy), where the renowned "Beaufort" cheese is made (open in summer for tours and the sale of produce). Follow the path close to a protected zone: the Cembraie sur Gypse. At the end of the trail, you will reach the Lovatière reservoir used for artificial snow production. Finish in Plagne Aime 2000 near the main building (classified as part of the 20th century's heritage).

At the top of the Montalbert gondola, you'll discover a trail through a wonderful, enchanted world for the young and the young at heart.
Along the trail, you'll encounter peculiar characters sculpted by chainsaw, as well as panels that will introduce you to the fabulous tales and legends of our mountains.

Distance: 3km
Explore the southern slopes of Champagny-en-Vanoise, passing through alpine pastures to reach the summit of Mont de la Guerre and the Bozelet Chapel. Enjoy a beautiful viewpoint with views over the ski area, the Champagny le Haut valley and the Vanoise glaciers.
Take the Champagny gondola to the top, then the Verdons Sud chairlift. From there, follow the left-hand path along the ridge to reach the summit of Mont de la Guerre. Continue on this track, still traversing, until you reach the Bozelet Chapel.
