Discover the 10 rules for safe skiing
Avoid Risky Situations!
- Behave in a way that doesn't endanger anyone
- Every skier must follow the signage (you can’t miss the bright orange signs)
- Adapt your behavior and speed to your abilities, the slope, and the weather conditions
- Make sure it's safe to enter a slope by checking both uphill and downhill
- Choose a path that ensures the safety of the downhill skier (the one below you)
- Overtake wide enough to anticipate the movements of the skier you're passing
- If you fall, clear the slope as quickly as possible. Always stop at the edge of the slope!
- Use the edge of the slope if you need to walk up or down
- If you're involved in or witness an accident, identify yourself by calling emergency services at 00334 79 09 67 60
- In the event of an accident, everyone must alert the rescue team and remain available to the ski patrol.
