Some ideas for walks and panoramic views

Starting from Live 3000

At an altitude of 3,000 metres, enjoy a unique experience in the heart of the high mountains.

From the middle station, discover the Creux de la Foudre and choose between:

  • a short loop: 1.6 km, 65 m elevation gain, approximately 50 minutes

  • a long loop: 3.4 km, 140 m elevation gain, approximately 1 hour 45 minutes

From the summit and its panoramic terrace, set off on the Discovery Trail: a short walk (350 m) that connects three exceptional viewpoints. Ideal for a contemplative break and your most beautiful photos.

Photo taken at Live 3000 in La Plagne. A person wearing a red jacket and orange beanie admires the snow-covered peaks, holding a camera or phone. On the right, they are seen from behind reading an informational sign about the mountains, displaying the inscriptions "Si loin, si proche." and "LIVE 3000." This scene perfectly captures the immersive and contemplative experience offered at La Plagne’s high-altitude viewpoints.

Strating from Plagne Centre

Hop aboard the Funiplagne cable car and head up to Grande Rochette at 2,500 metres. Here, you'll find a 360° panorama and a picnic area where you can enjoy your sandwich with a view of the peaks.

Bonus: take advantage of the free Wi-Fi to share your best photos with your loved ones in real time!

Starting from Plagne Bellecôte

Take the Roche de Mio cable car and quickly reach a spectacular panorama of the surrounding mountains.

Up there, the Roche de Mio Lounge welcomes you for a well-deserved relaxing break: make yourself comfortable, enjoy the sun, admire the view and savour a moment of tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of the slopes.

A perfect stop to recharge your batteries, take a few photos or simply contemplate the beauty of the snow-capped peaks.

The image shows the interior of the Roche de Mio Lounge in La Plagne. The space is modern and bright, with a mix of light wood and bright red accents. To the left, individual alcoves are arranged along the wall, each with a table and benches, separated by white partitions and adorned with red hanging lights. The walls of the alcoves feature a white geometric pattern on a wood background. To the right, large picture windows let in natural light and offer panoramic views of the outside. In the centre and to the right of the room, a number of light wood tables and chairs complete the layout, creating a warm, friendly and contemporary atmosphere, ideal for a comfortable break in the ski area.
